Struggling with Weak Wi-Fi at Home? Need a Wi-Fi Extender?

Updated: Apr 5

If you've noticed that certain areas in your house suffer from sluggish Internet while others seem fine, it might be time to consider a Wi-Fi Extender. These devices, also known as Wi-Fi Repeaters or Range Extenders, can help amplify your Wi-Fi signal and extend its coverage throughout your home.

To determine if you need a Wi-Fi Extender, take a stroll around your house with your smartphone and check the Wi-Fi signal strength in different areas using your phone settings. Additionally, running a Speed Test can reveal if the weaker Wi-Fi signal is adversely affecting your Internet speeds.

Wi-Fi Extenders are easy to set up – simply plug them into a power outlet and connect them to your existing Wi-Fi network. They'll then rebroadcast the signal, effectively expanding your Wi-Fi coverage to areas that were previously out of reach.

While Net All Over doesn't directly sell Wi-Fi Extenders, you can easily find them at most electronics stores or retailers like Walmart. Alternatively, you can browse online marketplaces such as Amazon to explore a wide range of options and choose the one that best fits your needs.

Keep in mind that while Wi-Fi Extenders can improve coverage, they won't magically boost your Internet speed. However, they can help ensure a more consistent and reliable connection throughout your home, making them a valuable addition to your network setup.

Net All Over was founded by one of the innovators of Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) service, having designed one of the first outdoor wireless Internet networks in the U.S. in 1996. Our goal is to provide high-speed Internet service to rural or low-service areas that either have no competitive alternative – OR – have no high-speed choice at all.
